This is a unique greek Hydra. These beings have five dragon like heads on a single body and are nearly unconquerable because if they lose one head two grow back in its place.

Most people think of greek hydras as all dark and venomous. This one is grey natured and while he has venom he’s not harmful to anyone unless they threaten him or his keeper.

Hydras appear in both Greek and African legends. A greek hydra and an African hydra have very similar attributes such as multiple heads that can multiply if cut off, protection, and guiding one through the other realms.

In appearance a greek hydra seems a little smaller and more stout than an African one.
