Basically anywhere that ground is deemed “holy” they are the guardians of that land. This is not limited to a specific religion either. Any holy religious place can have a kyrkogrim.

Being deeply connected to the dead they are guardians not only of the land but between realms. They can increase spirit communication, assist with necromancy, and bring “the dead” to visit if asked to.
