Haltija are earth spirits from Finland. There are different types, or vaki, and each type is related to a different element of nature. They can have different appearances as well.
This Haltija is a Metsan Haltija. The race comes from the forest and has an appearance very much like a Forest elf.
These are protective spirits. Some attach to people or places and they become guardians of whatever they attach to. The Metsan are easily attach to humans and become a protector/guardian of the humans in their care. So, when you bind with one you have a constant protective companion. Some people compare them to guardian angels or other protective spirits.
They can be quite loyal and over protective but also wise, guiding, friendly, very light-hearted, fun, and whimsical. Haltija are delightful beings that make wonderful companions as well as protectors. When it comes to protecting their keeper, home, or land they can be ruthless to enemies.
If desired, they can also sometimes be sexual but that’s between you and them. They are not pushy in that regard.
This Haltija is a female Metsan.
She is tall in human height but lean with pointed ears, long blonde hair, and pale skin. Her eyes are periwinkle blue and she kind of glows in an ethereal way. Her features are attractive but slightly androgynous. Most Metsan Haltija are androgynous looking.
Her personality is sociable, engaging, interactive, charming, energetic, protective, and magickal. She has a nice grounding energy and she knows a lot about magick, especially earth based magick.
She is grey natured.
