A basilisk is a serpentine (snake) like creature with no compare. These spirits are said to be anywhere from just a foot long to many feet long so they can vary in size quite a lot. Their necks never touch the ground and they have a crest on the tops of their heads which resembles a crown. This has earned them the reputation of being the king of serpents. 

To those unlucky enough to actually encounter one in physical form it is said that everything about them is deadly. A simple glance of a basilisk's eyes can be fatal. Their bite, saliva, skin, and smell can also be fatal. Legend has it that their venom can rot vegetation and cause bareness to a land. You don't have to worry about being struck down at any moment. Physical manifestations are very rare and should not be expected under any circumstance. But if it were to happen then it would be to manifest to your enemies. They mostly they protect from the spirit realm by leading you away from danger and common sense to avoid dangerous situations always applies with any spirit.

So why would you want a basilisk in your life? These creatures can be a great line of defense and protection from known and unknown enemies. This basilisk is a male. He is about 12 feet long. His skin is black and he has a yellow crown pattern on his head. His eyes are green. This being is full grown and mature. 

As most snakes, he likes to curl up in a corner when he is not busy checking for threats so he is a fairly quiet spirit. Any type of paranormal activity is still possible.

His personality is clever, watchful, loyal, and protective.
