This treasured item has a collection of spirits and deities that all come from Egypt. Together they are a powerful force that can bring the mystical powers of Egypt to their keeper.

Egyptian Sphinx

The sphinx appears in both Egyptian and Greek legends. Greek ones are usually female with wings and the Egyptian ones are usually male without wings. In both cultures they have the body of a lion with the head of a human. 

Sphinx spirits are guardians and protectors. That's their main purpose. If you are there keeper they can quickly and easily protect you from all harm and evil. They can quickly cross between realms to protect you both physically and spiritually.

 They are also highly intelligent and thus can increase your own intelligence and clarity. A sphinx can also help you break down the "riddles" of life so that you can make sense of the spirit world more. Increased intuition is common as well.

ISIS

Isis is the Supreme Mother Goddess of ancient Egyptian mythology. Sometimes she is pictured with outstretched wings or the horns of a bull. She is all; mother, lover, provider, protector, ruler, and friend. Isis has a wonderful presence that can bring you peace and happiness.

 Legend has it that the gods Isis and Osiris fell in love and were married. Together they ruled with a loving hand and provided quite well for their subjects. Set, the brother of Osiris, was jealous and killed Osiris, dismembering his body and scattering it along the Nile River. Isis loved her husband so much that she found every piece of him except one, his genitals. She then magickally put him back together and fashioned a new “member” for him. Then she proceeded to have relations with her husband a conceived Horus, the falcon god who would eventually avenge his father. Osiris then resigned to being the god of the underworld and Isis ruled alone until her son was old enough to take over. To summarize, she went to no end to save her husband and keep their family alive. She is a most dedicated wife and mother. She has been most revered for centuries and still has loyal followers today. 

This wonderfully all loving Goddess can bring peace, love, and happiness into your life. She is especially good at helping you to have a healthy, loyal relationship with your family. She is terrific at helping married couples get through all of the hurdles in life together and helping your relationship with your children.

 She is also fiercely protective and will smite those who come against her people. She does not pull any punches. 

Isis is a supreme provider. She is said to bring justice and shelter to all those who are oppressed or downtrodden. Isis is the patron Goddess of the sky, earth, nature, and magick. This Goddess has a lot of power and far reaching influence. Anything that you need help with Isis is there for you. Even if you just need some hope and light at the end of the tunnel. 

I know from personal experience that she is awesome to have by your side when starting a new spiritual path. Gently you will be guided in the right direction to go and where to seek answers. More than a few of us witches have started out with Isis as our teacher. You don’t have to follow the path of witchcraft. Whatever spiritual path you choose she is a terrific guide. She is especially known for opening the third eye and giving you new and clearer insights into the unknown.

 Being the ultimate female she is very empowering to women and the feminine energy. If you are a woman struggling to find yourself or just need more feminine energy in your life keep Isis close and you will begin to have a whole new awareness of what the yin energy can do.

OSIRIS

Osiris was once the Supreme Sun God of Egypt, ruling agriculture and other areas of daily life. He is married to Isis. As in the tale described above about Isis, He was betrayed and dismembered by Set and then reassembles and reanimated by Isis. Since then he has been relegated as the God of the Underworld.

Osiris is really a unique God in my opinion. He seems to straddle the realm of the living and the dead more than most other beings. This means he can still affect the material world while doing his duties in the underworld as well. His Power did not diminish when he was brought back from the dead. It simply changed focus.

Osiris can still be looked upon as the Supreme God. If you gain a relationship with him then he can affect harvest, success, and commerce among other things. He also rules over reincarnation and rebirth. Some see him as casting judgment not only in the current life but in the afterlife. I personally have found Osiris to be very loving and gentle when approached with reverence and his judgment is usually reserved for those who have no respect for him or others.

Osiris can bring a guiding, fatherly presence to your life as well as bring prosperity and increase. Spiritually he can help his followers to prepare for life after death and explore the inner self and spirit realms.  He helps to join the physical needs and desires with the larger picture of spirit and the cycle of rebirth. Horus

Horus came about from the union of Isis and her dead husband Osiris. To make a long story short Osiris, a supreme father god was brutally murdered by his brother. Isis found all of her husband's remains and magickally brought him back to life. Osiris was from that time on God of the underworld or life after death and no longer walked among the living. Before he resigned to his new kingdom Isis had relations with him. Horus was the resulting child. Horus would go on to avenge his father's murder and become the powerful ruler of heaven (a sun and sky God).

Horus is usually depicted as having the body of a man with the head of a falcon. This is in reference to his power over the air. Falcons are sacred to Horus.

He is associated with resurrection, justice, avenging, family, home, beauty, and success. He is also known as the god of war and weapons.

Symbols of his eye have become famous. The eye of Horus or Wedjat, is used to repel evil, especially the evil eye. The evil eye is when someone directs negative energy toward you and it causes bad luck, illnesses, poverty, and many other bad things to happen. People can do this out of jealousy or any other negative emotion. They may not even intentionally do this but it can affect you all the same. Just having this being around you will dispel all negativity and help things to move in a positive direction.
