It is true that gargoyles have a somewhat grotesque facial appearance and odd wings but they are not beings to be feared. On the contrary, gargoyles are known to be fiercely loyal and protective of whatever they are set in charge of. This means if you bond with them and ask them to protect and defend you they will do it voraciously. Their appearance alone can scare off many things that would harm you. That is why statues of them are put on buildings, to scare off evil. If they need to fight believe that they are very capable of winning virtually any battle.

This is a male Gargoyle. He is black with gray eyes. He stands at about 3 feet tall and has a face like a lion.  

His nature is grey and he is never harmful to his keeper.
